The Strawberry Festival will celebrate its 45th year in June. Expect music, theatre, street entertainment, markets and many of the events traditionally associated with the festival.

 

The Strawberry Festival 2012 will be held on 1st - 3rd June.

 

There will be street music throughout the festival, a farmers market and the bi-annual craft fair which will begin running before the festival commences.

 

Each year McFadden’s fun fair run amusements, usually in the Bellefield GAA pitch.

 

Every year a Strawberry Queen is selected who is put forward to compete in the Waterford heat of the Rose of Tralee. Last year Elaine Shanahan was crowned Queen (see gallery section for pictures from previous years).

Strawberries grown and picked in County Wexford are sold throughout the festival.
