Wexford Winterland Festival 2016

The Wexford Winterland Festival lights up the town! Wexford on Ice, one of Ireland’s biggest and best ice rinks, runs for seven weeks on the beauriful Quay Front, and the Christmas Express Train captivates young and old alike! The Bull Ring marketplace is transformed into an enchanting outdoor movie venue where classic Christmas movies will be shown on the big screen while the audience enjoys hot chocolate, crepes, and mulled wine. The Bull Ring also hosts a number of free music events during the festive period.

Wexford Winterland is launched in style on the last Saturday in November when the town is transformed into a riot of colour, sound and spectacle by the Christmas Parade.  Santa and Scrooge, along with 100 performers from Bui Bolg will wind their way through the streets, culminating on the Quay when Santa will officially turn on the Festive Lights.

Wexford Town is only one hour from Waterford City and less than 80 minutes from Kilkenny City.
